NotesThe archival photographs date from 1912 and all depict the intersection from the same direction, albeit at different angles. I believe the bottom image was taken slightly west from the others.

The locomotives were being used to help fill in the hollow that existed east of Bathurst at that time. I think the completion of this project can be viewed in the middle-right image.
